PROBLEMS WITH FIRST CHARGE ON YOUR ACER N35?

If you have just received your Acer N35 and are having trouble charging your unit, please do the following, turn the unit up side down and look at the com port on the bottom, on the right hand side on the com port is a hidden hard reset switch, you need to you the stylus and turn the PDA reset switch to the off position which is the hidden switch pushed over to the left.

Now put the PDA on charge for 1 hour with it switched off and it will look like its not doing anything, however the backup battery and main battery will start to charge, after 1 hour you can turn the hard reset switch back on, ( push hidden switch to the right with the stylus) and green light will now start to flash to say that unit is charging ok, when green light is solid the PDA is fully charged and ready for use. You should never need to touch this switch again.
