How to associate a Microsoft Outlook Web Access email account with a BlackBerry Internet Service account

Important: Some wireless service providers do not support association with all email account types. Contact your wireless service provider to verify that Microsoft Outlook Web Access is supported.




 

Overview

To associate a Microsoft Outlook Web Access email account, complete the following steps:

  1. Go to your wireless service provider BlackBerry Internet Service web site and log in to your BlackBerry Internet Service account. For instructions, see KB03781.
  2. Click the Set Up Account button.

  3. Complete the Email address, Password, and Confirm password fields, and click Next.

  4. Select I will provide the settings to add this email account, and click Next.

  5. Select This is my work email account, and click Next.

  6. In the Outlook® / Exchange® section, select I can access my email account using a Web Browser (Outlook® Web Access), and then click Next.

  7. Complete the required fields.

    Note: The Mailbox name field refers to your mailbox name. To determine your mailbox name, log into the Microsoft Outlook Web Access account and pause on the Inbox folder on the left top corner. On the task pane, you should see the mailbox name.

  8. Click Next. If the account has been properly configured you will see the following message, click OK. The Microsoft Outlook Web Access account should appear in your list of integrated email accounts.
