Tomtom on internal GPS Works Perfectly.
Tomtom Mobile N95 with INTERNAL GPS
Have copied UK and IE plus major roads of Western Europe to the root of the N95-8GB memory.
Got a lock pretty quickly, even indoors.
Quick rundown to clarify the instructions on P1:
1) Copy bt.sisx, GPSd.jar, tomtom.sisx and the “TomTom” directory from the Copy.To.MEMCARD.Root.rar file to the root of the memory card
2) Install bt.sisx
3) Install tomtom.sisx
4) Run bt from the applications menu (this apparently can then be uninstalled)
5) Run GPSd from the applications menu
6) Run TomTom from the applications menu
Configure TomTom:
1) Set preferences (such as distance/time format)
2) Choose “Other GPS Device” from the GPS setup menu
3) Allow TomTom to turn on Bluetooth
4) Choose BiNPDA from the device list
That’s it!
The maps MUST be in the root (along side the TomTom folder from the downloads).
